I have to say that Dr. Loshin and his entire practice has been our best experience yet. We have had crowns, regular fillings, TMJ treatment and regular check ups at his office and the dental work and enviornment are first rate. The way he handles his initial evaluations is so impressive AND he does NOT recommend unnecessary work. There is NO pressure.

The initial visit set me a little bit at ease, as he was not at all pushy regarding the various things that could be done to my teeth (and they had many problems), and he was able to answer my questions extremely well. He even did some extra research for me and printed out some journal articles for me regarding specific questions I had.

Since I started with him, my teeth problems largely disappeared, something I never thought would be possible. Over the last few years, my teeth and gums are much much healthier than they have been for decades, and I feel better about my teeth than ever before.

He's always been extremely informative and professional, and his staff has been excellent as well. Since they moved to their new location, the office has a really modern and nice feel, and the new equipment seems high-end as well (I am no dental equipment expert, but that's the impression I get).

He is the only dentist I can say I have no complaints about, and he's the only dentist I've ever felt confident about recommending.

I too have Metlife Insurance, but it is well worth it to me to go off the preferred providers to go to Dr. Loshin because he is so FABULOUS.

I just don't understand all the negative comments. Is it Dentist politics, maybe some dentist jealousy because Dr. Loshin is so GREAT????? hmmmmm. I recommend Dr. Loshin 150%. Try him once and you'll never go anywhere else.

Last but not least, Clair cleans my teeth every 6 months and I think she is great and I don't think she is irritating at all. How rude? She is very sweet as all of Dr. Loshin's employees are.

Also, I got the opportunity to meet Peggy while Chris was on vacation and she is a Great stand in for Chris. Curls Rock, Peggy!!! ha ha ha

Although this might have been a personal chemistry issue, I found the doctor to be condescending and cold.

This is to report in that this office is indeed like a "5 star" hotel. The office is quiet peaceful and I am not kidding that this is 5 star but the prices are in-line with others.

I have visited many dentist offices, and this has been the nicest. Staff pleasant and Dr Loshin cares about his patients, staff - pride shows in his office and his work.

I would highly recommend this Dentist.

In terms of costs, as I understand it he is within an established range that most all dentists fall in. As far the cosmetic work, which can often be mostly out of pocket, I think his costs are also in line with other Dentists.

In fact, you may be overcharged and need to check with your insurance company BEFORE you pay. In my case, I prepaid and never heard from Loshin's office that I had in fact overpaid. It took my calling them to get them to admit they owed me money.

To me, that's just not acceptable. I even now question whether or not what Loshin recommends in terms of fillings, other treatments are actually needed or if he's just trying to work an angle.

I highly recommend against him.
