Doctor Johnson has been my dentist for over 5 years and the only reason I continue to return is because of her awesome hygienist Jill and her quality care of my dental health. I think she is way too uptight and her attitude is very disrespectful to her staff and patients. She does not like me to voice my concerns, she acts annoyed and even arrogant towards me and I always feel like she is ready to blow up at the drop of a dime. The tension in the air is so thick I could cut it with a knife. She almost started throwing things at her assistant once when I was getting a filling, totally on edge atmosphere. If I worked for her I would not be able to hold back telling her to back off and invest in a punching bag or something!

I've been going to Dr. Johnson for many years and just came across this website, so I thought I'd throw in my two cents... Dr. Johnson and her staff are by far the BEST dental office I have ever visited! (if it were not, I would be going elsewhere). They have made every visit comfortable (even the ones where I wasn't looking forward to, such as a crown), they fully explain the procedure (which is great as I'm an engineer always asking questions), and even have my favorite CD ready for me to listen to when I arrive.I've even referred friends and coworkers to their office, and those that go seem pleased. Overall, I'm very happy and will continue to go to her. As the old saying goes, "if it ain't broke..."Regarding my Cost Rating above, my insurance covers most everything and any balance owed by me seems reasonable, though I have nothing to compare to.Regarding my Facilities rating above, I doubt ANY dental office would be "like a health spa"! But this office is pretty darn close - it's a nice environment, they make you feel comfortable, and are always friendly and professional. Perfect for someone who has always feared dentists - like me...

Staff and service is top notch! They changed how I felt about going to the dentist. The hygenist is very thorough, attentive, and responsive. They have a strong focus on the latest dental technology and education. The office is comfortable and calming and the downtown location is convenient.
